PE LESSONS
We understand that every school is different and each school will have their own individual PE programme. Additionally, there will be tailored lesson plans for each session, which meet the needs of pupils from Reception class through to Year 6.
Our service includes-
- Bespoke Tailored PE programme for each individual school
- Specific lesson plans with realistic learning objectives
- Classroom activities linked to physical education and healthy eating/living
- National attainment assessment sheets, which are submitted to school up to 3 times a year
PE LESSONS PROVISION:
Sports Plus has been supporting 100’s of primary and nursery schools by delivering quality and professional Physical Education, including taking full control and responsibility for Planning, Preparation and Assessment time (PPA) for PE lessons.
Many schools are now using our PE provision to up-skill teaching staff by taking advantage of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes that can be put in place to provide a process of tracking and documenting the skills, knowledge and experience that teachers learn as they work, beyond any initial training. This can be used as a record of what teachers experience, learn and then apply to their own lessons.
Our PE coaching team of highly qualified and experienced staff are committed to delivering our bespoke and tailored PE programme. Our programme is split into topics, each of which focuses on a variety of skills through different activities, apparatus and sports equipment. Our objectives are to help children develop with our enthusiastic, informative and enjoyable coaching methods, whilst learning in a controlled and structured environment.

The service from Sports Plus Scheme has been simply brilliant. Ashley Field and his team have created a dynamic PE culture within our school, through modelling, praising and inspiring. The quality of teaching the children receive, means they are focussed every lesson and come away feeling successful about their ability. The extracurricular sports outside of school hours provide opportunities we could not normally offer including street dance and scooter hockey. We have used Sports Plus coaches for several years now and we class them as part of our team. They are very professional and develop great relationships with the children and staff. The coaches are very knowledgeable and dedicated to achieving high standards. Sports Plus have helped create a love of sport in our school through fun, engaging lessons where all children can thrive. We have worked closely with the coaches and Sam to design a great tracking and assessment system suited to our school, which shows excellent results. Following an observation, feedback from our PE Governor about the level of engagement and the attainment of the children was very positive.
